Art Unauthorized

Photographer John Read showed this piece at the Center for Visual Artists' Art Unauthorized, which opened September 10th at the Greensboro Cultural Center. The show will be open until October 15. The piece was created from a photo he took of me in late April 2010.

Laura Johnston

I shot with Laura Johnston from Raleigh NC (http://www.laura-johnston.com/) on August 31st. Our inspiration was taken from the June issue of Vogue. Our result was fantastic :) I was so happy with it! Kyle Britt (Studio 207 Greensboro) is a hair genius, I couldn't be any more proud of his work and his willingness to try the impossible. Joanne Maye (Raleigh) did my makeup and did a beautiful job as well, and of course I cannot begin to say how amazing Laura is!

Bunny Mask

Production Photography

This was the very first day of shooting with Production Photography, I showed up at John Ryan's house early that morning and we didn't waste any time. Kyle Britt and Kristen McGuire went to work on my hair and makeup. We shot at an old bookstore, a parking lot, a living room, on a staircase, on a storefront, an against a brick wall. It was a very long day but it was well worth it. I shot with John Ryan, Aaron Nace, Rosie Hardy, Chris Cooke, and Miss Chrissy Ink.

Newspaper Dress

I modeled for Production Photography one Sunday; we did three different shoots that day which required three different hair and makeup changes along with awesome wardrobe like this dress that Kimber Rene Lynn so expertly designed and constructed for me out of newspaper.
